VU is all set to welcome Establis for its fifth workshop focused on charge carrier transport in organic solar cells. The event will be held from October 2-4, 2013, in the unique and cozy building of Vilnius University Library.

The Vilnius group is mainly concerned  about charge transport in OSCs probed by photo-electrical methods, which serves as a key parameter in understanding performance of these devices. The workshop will be informative and practice-oriented as it involves relevant lectures on basics of charge transport as well as a laboratory visit. I assure this will be a golden opportunity to learn everything you need to know about charge transport, right from the experts!

The University of Vilnius, founded in 1579, is one of the oldest and most famous establishments of higher education in Eastern and Central Europe. The departments of the University were formed over several centuries and the architectural ensemble occupies one entire block of the historical old town of Vilnius, a UNESCO world heritage site.

Vilnius has many faces, names, and attractions. Although it looks like it is in a remote corner of Europe, but in fact, is just a dozen kilometers from the geographic center of Europe. Moreover, Lithuania now holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, adding to its elegance.

Wishing you all a good time in Vilnius,

Meera Stephen
