Training
The very highest-level training in scientific research, presentation skills, and team-participation will be given to the successful candidates. At the core of Establis is the ideal of cross-science fertilization and interaction. This is all the more important to Organic Solar Cell research, as such devices will only work when all the chemical, electronic and physical parameters come together. This will benefit the consortium and also ensure that when our successful Fellows start to look for work after Establis, they will have valuable and highly sought-after cross-science skills to break down the scientific barriers that can hinder research.
Establis has been organized for each Fellow so that they will finish their training with highly complementary skills across different sciences. Each programme of research has been considered in detail so that complementarity is enhanced by a pragmatic approach. We have seen that this maximizes the chance of publishing high impact papers, of developing a strong CV, and improving chances of finding work post-Establis.
In addition to the highest level combined academic and industrial training, ESTABLIS will deliver a wide range of complementary skills to its Fellows. Extensive workshops are being organized to give our Fellows the very best training in those skills that help in being a leader and in developing a high-level career. For example, entrepreneurial skills, interview techniques, management, project and CV writing are just some of the courses that will be available. While English is the language common to the consortium, local language training will also be given, along with help and advice in developing your career in new environments and across various European countries.
